Dr. Flaherty is Co-Director of the Dartmouth Centers for Health & Aging and President-Elect of the American Geriatric Society. She has a joint appointment in Geriatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where she practices in General Internal Medicine. Dr. Flaherty spent 25 years in New York City working to advance clinical practice in geriatric nursing at the NYU College of Nursing/Hartford Institute where she received her PhD in Nursing. As an Executive Board member and Treasurer of the American Geriatrics Society, Dr. Flaherty continues to function as a national leader for the advancement of geriatric nursing practice. She has been involved in the plan of care for a number of LSRVNA patients and is an important and dynamic community and professional partner. Please join us.
